Founded in 2015 and created by farmers for farmers, HydroGreen International is a global agricultural technology company focused on advancing feed security, sustainable livestock production, and climate-smart agricultural infrastructure.
Our mission is simple. We help livestock producers grow more nutritious, reliable, and sustainable feed while reducing their dependency on resource-intensive farming systems. Through automation and controlled-environment agriculture, HydroGreen International enables producers to improve animal performance, strengthen farm profitability, and build resilience into the food system.
Rancher and entrepreneur Dihl Grohs originally invented the HydroGreen technology platform for his own cattle operations in South Dakota, Utah, and Missouri.
Raising livestock in drought-prone regions made access to quality feed increasingly difficult. So Dihl set out to build a practical, scalable, and low-maintenance solution. His system produces fresh livestock feed year-round while significantly reducing water usage, land dependency, and climate-related production risks.
We empower livestock producers with innovative, scalable, and sustainable feed production technologies. These systems improve animal nutrition, strengthen agricultural resilience, and reduce environmental impact. They also support the production of high-quality protein for a growing global population.
